Who are JYC Clubs for?

The JYC clubs are designed for kids 6+. Age limits are noted on each club to ensure age appropriate games, videos, and conversation.

My 6 year old LOVES YouTube. Can they join the YouTube Club?

Yes! We've adapted the YouTube Club format to allow younger kids to participate.

How much are your clubs?

The JYC clubs are free. They're supported through parent donations, business donations, and funding from Jo(e) Social Media Inc. We always appreciate donations!

Do you have any in-person clubs?

Yes! Most clubs are in-person, with a capacity limit of 8.

Do we have to live in Central Alberta to join your clubs?

No way! You can join the online clubs from anywhere in the world. We will require that you have your video camera on, so we know you are who you say you are.

Who are the JYC Coaches?

The JYC coaches are all local teenagers who have been trained on positive coaching skills and responsible online behaviour. They're supported by adults in the JYC, but primarily guide the clubs on their own.
