Special Events, Summer Day-camps for kids 6+, and Birthday Parties at the JYC!
Camps run from 8:30 to 4:30, Monday - Friday. If you need flexible pick up or drop off, please just ask!
Day Camps are $50/child or pay-what-you-can.
A maximum of 8 kids are in a camp.
Birthday Parties can be booked by JYC Club Kids on Saturdays and Sundays.
JYC Summer Crew
Summer Day Camps
The JYC Summer Crew Day Camps (6+) are booked as individual days, rather than entire weeks, to allow parents flexibility in cost and time. Book the days you want/need!
In order to make sure that EVERY kid gets to hang out at the JYC for the whole day, regardless of economic or family circumstance, FRIDAYS ARE FREE.
Camp is a mixture of gaming, TikToks, YouTube, and crafts. Often the TikToks or YouTube shorts are made outside at the park, outside the JYC, or at the LMC. We also partner with other organizations like the Mary C Moore Library or the Lacombe Historical Society for cool activities (and then we make a TikTok about it :) )
Individual days are $50 or pay-what-you-can.
Retro Jam Fest
Win prizes!
Retro Jam Fest will be held at the Lacombe Memorial Centre on Thursday, July 14th, 2022.
Doors will open at 6:00, and a Rockband Competition will start at 6:30. There will be prizes for Best Dressed (70's, 80's, and '90s themed), and prizes for the best Rockband band!
There will also be many other smaller activities!
Birthdays
For JYC Club Kids Only
JYC Club kids can book their birthday or special event at the JYC. You MUST be a JYC Club kid to do so. (Meaning you attend JYC programs).
If you want a specific JYC Club Coach to host, let us know who and we'll do our best to accommodate you! We can't guarantee you'll get the coach you want. We can guarantee you'll get a great coach!
Price includes private access to the entire JYC, including the Gaming Studio, equipment, and a coach to help with the techy stuff!
No School Today Camp
Day Camps for PD Days and School Holidays
No School Today Camps run 8:30 to 4:30 according to the Wolf Creek School Division School Calendar.
Camp is a mixture of gaming, TikToks, YouTube and crafts. Usually not individually! For example, if we make slime, we'll film a YouTube episode on how to make slime, edit it, and then publish it to the JYC YouTube channel.
